iLife Tutorial – Remove blemishes and objects in iPhoto

iPhoto includes professional-level editing techniques to remove unwanted objects from your photos

It’s this latter feature that we’re going to investigate in this tutorial, in particular the Retouch brush. It now includes an edge detector, which means you can remove spots and blemishes that overlap other objects without losing any solid edges. It’s the type of technology you’d expect to see in professional-level software, but is incredibly easy to use. With this new tool, every Mac user has the ability to perfect their holiday snaps without buying expensive software.
