Do you know how to mix the perfect Alabama Slammer? How about a Cuba Libre or a Richard’s Red Eye? Whatever cocktail variety you enjoy, this app will find your perfect match. Whether you’re looking for a summer drink or a creamy winter warmer, you can search by type or use the random shaker to be offered one of the many recipes available. Search by ingredient or cocktail title – the choice is yours. Freshly added to the application is the pocket sommelier that suggests the type of wine you should be eating with particular foods. It’s not spot on, but it was compiled by a head chef who served the Queen of England apparently. If you’re a cocktail fan it’s hard to find a reason not to download this great-value application that will likely have a few barmen digging out their iPhone for that special drink idea. Every single cocktail recipe comes with a full-screen image of the finished article and step-by-step instructions on how to create it. Get down to the liquor store, stock up your drinks cabinet and give this app a go!

I like the iShot Machine app because it’s more than just another recipe app with a million drinks. This is entertainment with a useful recipe database. A cool interface and fun to use. Great for an icebreaker at a bar. http://www.iShotMachine.com
