PopCap, makers of the incredibly addictive Plants vs. Zombies, has sold over 300,000 copies on nine days, netting the company over $1 million. Naysayers may refer to the fact that the game has had a good deal of success on desktop computers, but in all fairness the same is true of all the big game franchises. The success of this app may also be due to its aggressive pricing. It is on sale in the UK store for £1.79 and it could have easily sold for more – but would that have lead to the huge sales figures? We doubt it. So, there really is a case for having great value on apps  – and that doesn’t have to mean a 59p/$0.99 price tag.

Yes, it is PopCap. I have kicked Jimmy very hard and changed the typo. Thank’s for pointing it out! :)
