The iWatch is being tested by Apple ahead of a release alongside iOS 8 later in 2014

Apple is expected to launch the much-rumoured iWatch to work alongside iOS 8 and the next iPhone towards the end of this year. New reports have suggested an app in iOS 8, named Healthbook, is currently in development within the Cupertino company, and it is expected that iOS 8 will enable the iWatch to link to this app to track movement and more.

iWatch rumours have been circulating for some time now, but with the recent news that Apple has hired sleep expert Roy Raymann and multiple reports coming from industry insiders suggesting that Apple is experimenting with motion and solar charging techniques and new LG batteries, things seem to be ramping up.

A new iPhone is expected in September, but with iOS 8 likely to debut at WWDC at the start of June, we should get a much clearer picture of what Apple plans to offer in the next few months. There have reportedly been problems with battery life in early prototypes of the iWatch, but with a different type of battery and new methods to making charging simple, things may be back on track for a launch by the end of 2014.

Damn, can’t wait for the iPhone 6 either.

    • I think this could be the most excellent and unique phone that apple company had made. It looks really small, but the parts are already integrated and have good features like using an iPhone.

Wow, I’m really waiting for the iPhone 6 at the moment. Really hope they announce it 9 september 2014!
