Injured artist stays creative with App Store apps and Twitter

When artist SteveJohn trapped a nerve in his arm six months ago he had to step back from the easel and oils and find another way to vent his creativity.

After searching across the App Store for creative apps, he began creating abstract paintings using his iPod touch and his finger. After mastering the apps he started posting his work to Twitter and Flickr and has continued to do so daily. By using the Creative Commons license, anyone can download his work for free (http://www.flickr.com/photos/frommystudio).

Now gathering quite a following on Twitter and some great feedback SteveJohn says of the phenomenon “I feel its a really important part of the creative process to get your work out there and I’m so amazed that I can now create, display and share within minutes.”.
