Here at iCreate we’ve seen our fair share of iPod Nano watch straps. We had a group test a couple of months ago in which we pitted six against each other, and since then we’ve had a few more into iCreate Towers. However, this is the first time I’ve seen a strap that manages to add a metal strap, and look so damn good while it does so.
The Hex Vision Metal isn’t available just yet, but when it is I’ll be first in line to snap one up. The strap is made from stainless steel and manages to look as normal as iWatchz’s products. What I love about it is that it looks like the sort of thing that you would wear and nobody would notice it was had an iPod attached. It also manages to look incredibly stylish; anything with a gunmetal finish is fine by me.
The release date for the Hex Vision is currently the beginning of June, so there isn’t long to wait, and you can pre-order now from their website for $69.95.
And if you’re not sure how to open a box, here’s a handy video showing you how to start using your Hex Vision. It also gives you a little look at what the all-important clip system is like that secures the iPod Nano to the strap. The Hex vision looks pretty solid, so you won’t need to worry too much about it coming loose.

Better then the TicTok? How about the Ultimate One (the other Kickstarter successfully funded project)?
I own the Ultimate One but followed both of these closely. I love mine because of the design/engineering setup of the wristband. However, I use it primarily for for music and active stuff.
I have to admit, we haven’t tried the Ultimate One yet, but we absolutely loved the Tik Tok (as you can see in issue 94). That said, we think this is more of a fashion watch strap, where the other two are more sport-orientated. We’ll have to see how it performs in tests when we get one for review, but you have to admit, it looks really nice.
