Five Festive Snow Leopard Screen Savers

With the holidays upon us, radio stations are starting to dig out the Christmas classics, people are planning gifts and family gatherings and supermarkets… well they’ve have had decorations up since late September. Now we’ve hit December 1st we think it’s time to show a little holiday spirit and where better to do it than on your Mac. Cheer up your office or living room with this collection of five holiday-themed Screen Savers that we’ve tested and found to be full of seasonal spirit. They work with Tiger, Leopard and, of course, let it Snow Leopard.

Snowfall 21. Snowfall
So good it has been used in Apple Retail Stores during the holiday period. This simple, calming Quartz Composer-based Screen Saver can be customised to add more snowflakes, change the background colour or image and increase the speed of the falling snow.

2. 7art Silver Snow Clock
Another calming Screen Saver, Silver Snow Clock displays a working pocket watch in the snow complete with falling snowflakes.

3. A Very 3D Christmas
Ideal for kids, this fun Screen Saver shows Santa and an elf travelling across a virtual village distributing presents. Fun Christmas music plays and a countdown to Christmas day is displayed at the top of the screen.
