eBay launches Apple refurbished store, offers cut-price Macs

by Freddie Harrison

Apple are now offering officially refurbished products through eBay, giving you a hefty discount on Macs, iPods and iPhones outside of Apple’s own refurb store.

Apple eBay - Refurb Store - Main

Apple’s online refurb store has been the best-kept secret of many an Apple fan for a long time now. Offering officially refurbished Macs, iPods and iPads at a heavily discount price, it’s been the go-to option for anyone looking to buy a Mac without taking a hit on their wallets. Now, thanks to a new partnership with eBay, Apple is now offering its refurbished products via everyone’s favourite online auction site.

Listed simply as the Refurbished Outlet, eBay’s Apple refurb store offers a good selection of Macs, iPods and iPhones all discounted by anything from $100 to $300. These savings are pretty huge and could make all the difference if you’re looking to purchase your first Mac, or even upgrade, but don’t quite have the cash.

Currently, it looks like these offers are only available in the US, although a UK version of the store does exist, albeit with no products. In the meantime, though, UK-based bargain hunters can still check out the refurbished section of Apple’s own online store.
