Ok, so this is a bit of a shameless plug but who cares? Its Christmas time and I’d like to do a good turn for some friends who’ve got a record coming out.
Rotten Hill Gang are a collective of musicians who’ve taken it upon themselves to go ahead and spread their musical message. With a combination of classic samples, brilliant beats, cool guitars and great vocals they’re really starting to rock London town. Based out of Notting Hill, they are releasing their first single on Christmas day. Its called Pick a Pocket and on top of the release they’ll be playing gigs in and around Notting Hill this festive season.
There’s no doubt they have the cool factor, their live sets have a stellar reputation and they can count former Clash guitarist, Mick Jones, as a regular contributor to their live sound. How many bands can say that?

This band sound like a bunch of banana’s from a portobello stall, an mouldy ones at that! Why the hell Mick Jones wants to embarrass himself like that strummering a guitar in the background! Those guys must have one on him or he’s under serious threat maybe or something….what a load of rubbish!
