Elgato To Offer Customers Money Back If England Wins World Cup

For those of you interested in both football (that’s Soccer in the US) and technology you’ll likely have heard of The World Cup and the Elgato EyeTV digital TV tuner range for Mac.

How could these two be related? Well, for one thing you could watch the upcoming international tournament on your Mac with one of these excellent pieces of kit. You could also win the cost of your EyeTV back if your country wins the tournament!

We’ve checked, and it’s nowhere near April 1st. This crazy idea is for real!

Given England’s less than glorious performances since 1966, it’s unlikely that Elgato will have to pay out, however with France, Italy and current European champions Spain in the mix it may be a little more expensive in other locations.
