This has got to be good news for us as the consumer, i'm sure it will become a competition between the operators on who can offer the best tariff for the best price and what price they can offer the iPhone for.
Cant wait for my current O2 contract to end in Jan now...

Agreed. A monopoly is never a good thing, and a bit of competition between networks can only mean better value all round. Very interested to see what happens...
