UK iPad App Store Goes Live, Can Be Confusing…

Good news for UK iPad owners, the UK App Store is now live so users can start impulse-buying apps with immediate effect

photoIts good news for UK iPad owners, the UK App Store is now live so users can start impulse-buying apps with immediate effect – no doubt those people selling American iTunes vouchers on auction sites will see a dip in profits.

There is a slight problem though, which could become quite enjoying – iPhone apps and iPad apps are mixed together and its not always clear which is which. Of course a lot of iPhone games that have made it over to the iPad have HD in their name but those apps made specifically for iPad aren’t as easy to spot. So, be careful shoppers!

      Suggestion Whilst in iTunes App store if you just type ipad you get presented with “iPhone App’ and “iPad Apps” from which you can drill further.
      Choose “Select All” against either and you will get respectively “All iPhone Apps for ipad” or “All iPad Apps for IPAD”. Might aid in the issue but again be careful and check
